Arnaldo Malho – The Iron Poet
Design of the visual identity, exhibition and bespoke typeface for Arnaldo Malho – Poeta do Ferro (The Iron Poet), a temporary exhibition that took place at the Museum Casa da Ribeira, in Viseu (Portugal).
Casa da Ribeira is the multi-purpose headquarters of the Foundation for the Protection of Handicraft and is the centre of craftwork gathering, investigation and exhibition in Viseu.
The bespoken typeface “Ribeira” was designed to be combined with craftwork object, it was designed for Museum’s identity and has six variants, including a stencil version. The extended family allows the font to establish a connection throughout all of the different exhibitions of the museum.
