Imaginary – Nature and Math
Imaginary was a temporary exhibition designed for the Science Museum in Coimbra. The exhibition was based on an idea developed by the Oberwolfach Institute for Research in Mathematics (Germany). It combined mathematics and shapes found in nature, creating the opportunity to learn basic concepts about geometry and algebra in a fun way.
The catalog was designed with 2 different kinds of papers. The images where printed on a coated and very bright paper that reflected the images in the exhibition. The math formula was printer on a smaller uncoated paper that allowed us to see the original organic object, the formula while see the result at the same time.
Project designed at FBA.
